The Bike Shed

This June, we’re spending three weeks at the lovely Bike Shed in Exeter. While we’re there we’ll be spending time doing very early work on a big new show we’re making for next year called Albemarle. Each night, we’ll be hosting a public event - ranging from work in progress showings, to solo performances, poetry nights, readings and discussion events. We’ve got a brilliant group of artists joining Chris - including Theron Schmidt, Jo Clifford, Jonny Liron and Maddy Costa.

We’ve toured almost all of our work to the South West in the last two years - The Forest and The Field at Arnolfini and TR2 in Plymouth, GOD/HEAD at Bristol Old Vic, Hippo World Guest Book at Tobacco Factory, Monkey Bars at the Brewhouse, Keep Breathing at the Drum Theatre in Plymouth, Open House in Mayfest, and The Adventures of Wound Man and Shirley in Bristol, Plymouth, Taunton and the Bike Shed.

So it would be great to see some friendly and familiar faces from all over the region for this exciting series of events. Full details can be found here.

The Forest & The Field in London

We’re two weeks away from our brand new show opening in London. The Forest & The Field is a gently seductive, immersive piece of non-fiction storytelling by Chris Goode, which asks its audience to consider what we’re all doing when we meet in a theatre space. The piece is a development of an academic paper Chris wrote, that has led to his upcoming book of the same name. We’re making the theatre piece with our good friends at Ovalhouse, where we open for 3 shows only in early March, prior to some national touring dates in May and June 2013. See the show page for more information.

Monkey Bars: press so far

We’re only one day away from opening our brand new show Monkey Bars at the Traverse Theatre during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Over the last few days, we’ve had some great preview coverage, including a fantastic feature in the Guardian’s Family section on Saturday.
